Challenge #4: Inspiration Challenge

Wow, I can't believe it's already time for our fourth group challenge! But, you know what they say, time flies when you're having fun.

If you're anything like me, at the end of a long, busy summer, you've got some uninked stamps sitting in a drawer somewhere feeling unloved. Well ladies, it's time to change that. The summer is finally winding down and it's time to spread the love.

The Challenge:
Dig out a stamp set that you have either bought recently and never used (tsk, tsk) or ink up an oldie, but goodie that's been sorely neglected (shame, shame).

The Details:
1. Create a card using at least one PTI product (stamp or paper).
2. Post your creation to your blog on September 15th for our official Papertrey Posse Parade of Blogs!
3. On September 15th, after you have posted your card, stop by and sign Mr. Linky on the official September Parade of Blogs post.
4. Have fun gettin' inky!

I'll be back soon with our next petite challenge!

Challenge #3: Technique Challenge

Hello everyone! Happy August! This month I am your Posse challenge hostess. You know, August is one of my favorite months. It's the start of school (here in our county, the kids go back tomorrow!!), and I have always loved school. I like to learn, so school was always the best part of my life. Do you like to learn? Ever since I started stamping back in 2003, I think, i've loved to learn new things in regards to stamping and one of my favorite things has always been techniques. There are so many cool techniques out there that can totally take a card to the next level. My very favorite is Cracked Glass! This month for our main challenge, I want you guys to take YOUR favorite technique and wow us! Break out an old favorite or teach us something new. Don't really do techniques or don't know where to start? Check out the Try a new technique forum/gallery on Splitcoaststampers.com for a ton of ideas. Ready? Ok...get to thinking!

The Details:

1. Create a card using your favorite technique.
2. Use at least one PTI product on your card.
3. Post your creation to your blog on August 15th during the Papertrey Posse Parade of Blogs.
On the 15th, after you have posted your card, stop by and sign Mr. Linky on the official Parade of Blogs August 2010 post.

Petite Posse Challenge #4: Inspiration Challenge

I'm so excited to be back for my third challenge of the month. I'm a big fan of Trigger Tuesdays over at Moxie Fab World. I love the cards and projects that come from a picture of a purse, stack of plates or a pair of shoes!

My husband and I recently celebrated our first wedding anniversary, and I've felt a little nostalgic for the planning process and all the beautiful pictures that inspired me during our planning.

In the spirit of this I have chosen a picture from theKnot to serve as our inspiration:

If you have time, come play along with this challenge. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Challenge #2: Color Challenge

Welcome back for our second group challenge! I am so excited to see the fantastic cards that you all make and share with us.

I have been working a lot with color recently I've been struggling a lot with Melon Berry in combination with anything else. Recently I was in the studio organizing my scraps and this color combo jumped out from the pile and spoke to me - begged, almost, to be the July challenge. How can I say no when inspiration hits - especially if it'll mean some uber-talented ladies will be playing with my arch-nemesis color!

So here's the challenge:

The Details:
  1. Create a card using the colors provided below - Ocean Tides, Aqua Mist, Melon Berry, and Dark Chocolate (or something close if you don't have these on hand).
  2. Use at least one PTI product on your card.
  3. Post your creation to your blog on July 15th for our official Papertrey Posse Parade of Blogs!
  4. On July 15th, after you have posted your card, stop by and sign Mr. Linky on the official Parade of Blogs July 2010 post.
Have fun! I'll be back tomorrow with our next petite challenge!

Petite Posse Challenge #2 - Fabulous Folds

I don't know about you, but sometimes it seems like I am stuck in a rut - always folding my cards in half vertically or horizontally. There are so many creative options for folding cards and using folds to embellish projects that I would like to try, so I thought it would be fun focus our second Petite Posse Challenge around Fabulous Folds.

One of my all time favorite folds for card making is the TriShutter Card.

Here is one that I made recently:
