August Posse Challenge - All About Me

"Hey pretty lady.  What puts a smile on your face?"  We all know that a PTI box on the doorstep puts a spring in our step, but I'm sure that other things do to.  So, now's the time to share. (But, keep it clean, okay.)  Think, raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.

The Challenge:
(1) Create a card that highlights one of your favorite things - OUTSIDE of stamping.
(2) Use at least one Papertrey product.
(3) Post your creation to your blog (or other online gallery) and tell us a bit about your choice.
(4) Add a link to your post to the Mr. Linky below before August 31st.

All supplies PTI unless otherwise noted.
Paper:  Rustic Cream, all prints (Hopscotch Collection, BasicGrey)
Stamps:  Admit One (LawnFawn), Birthday Basics
Ink:  Fountain Pen (Jenni Bowlin), Vintage Touch Tea Dye Duo
Tools:  Wonderful Words die, Tag Sale 3, Edgers #2,
Other:  Copics, seam binding (Hug Snug)

Easy, eh? So, as this month's hostess, I posted my sample to get your mojo fllowing. But, if you want the story behind it, you'll have to visit my blog once I've linked it up. Can't wait to see your creations and to learn a little bit more about each of you.

Happy stamping!

Petite Challenge #8 - Inspiration Challenge

The air's getting crisp. The days are getting shorter. But best of all, the leaves are changing. My final petite challenge for September is to use nature's landscape and colour palette to inspire our stamping creations.

The Details:
Create a card that mirrors the gorgeous fall foliage. And remember, this challenge isn't just about colour. Incorporate leaves in a variety of interesting and imaginative ways. Stamp. Die cut. Emboss. Be creative.

If you are able to play along, stop by and leave your name below on Mr. Linky with a link to your finished card. And with that, I now leaf you as your hostess for the month. Thanks for your participation, ladies! It's been fun.

Parade of Blogs - Sept. 2010

Cue the marching bands and send in the clowns, it's time for a posse parade.

This month's challenge was to ink up a never used or too-long neglected stamp set to create something fabulous. Are you as anxious as I am to see the results?

If you've created a card for this month's Parade of Blogs, scroll on down and sign Mr. Linky so we can all hop on over to see your handywork.

Thanks for participating this month! And be sure to check back on the 17th for our final Petite Challenge for September.

Challenge #4: Inspiration Challenge

Wow, I can't believe it's already time for our fourth group challenge! But, you know what they say, time flies when you're having fun.

If you're anything like me, at the end of a long, busy summer, you've got some uninked stamps sitting in a drawer somewhere feeling unloved. Well ladies, it's time to change that. The summer is finally winding down and it's time to spread the love.

The Challenge:
Dig out a stamp set that you have either bought recently and never used (tsk, tsk) or ink up an oldie, but goodie that's been sorely neglected (shame, shame).

The Details:
1. Create a card using at least one PTI product (stamp or paper).
2. Post your creation to your blog on September 15th for our official Papertrey Posse Parade of Blogs!
3. On September 15th, after you have posted your card, stop by and sign Mr. Linky on the official September Parade of Blogs post.
4. Have fun gettin' inky!

I'll be back soon with our next petite challenge!

Petite Posse Challenge #4: Inspiration Challenge

I'm so excited to be back for my third challenge of the month. I'm a big fan of Trigger Tuesdays over at Moxie Fab World. I love the cards and projects that come from a picture of a purse, stack of plates or a pair of shoes!

My husband and I recently celebrated our first wedding anniversary, and I've felt a little nostalgic for the planning process and all the beautiful pictures that inspired me during our planning.

In the spirit of this I have chosen a picture from theKnot to serve as our inspiration:

If you have time, come play along with this challenge. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
